THE ESTATE
Tradition and innovation between the rows
In the heart of Sannio
In the heart of the Sannio Benevento area, among the hills of Torrecuso, lies the Cantine Iannella 1920 estate. Situated at 420 meters above sea level, with the majestic Monte Pentime behind it and immersed in the Taburno-Camposauro Regional Park, the estate enjoys a privileged location: in the heart of Campania, about an hour from the provinces of Avellino, Caserta, Salerno, and Naples, it offers an authentic refuge where nature, history, and tradition meet.
The landscape is a harmonious interweaving of hills, mountains, and valleys crisscrossed by streams, which shape the land and enrich the biodiversity of the vineyards. Here, viticulture becomes an identity: the rows of vines grow on ideal clay and limestone soils, and the privileged exposure, combined with the temperature variations between day and night, gives the wines aromas, freshness, and character.
The estate is a place where past and present intertwine: every scent, every view, every gesture tells the story of a family and its wines, inviting those who come to experience the most authentic Campania in the heart of Sannio.

Vineyards and Grape Varieties
The estate’s vineyards nestle among the hills of Sannio and the Taburno Camposauro Regional Park, a land where history, nature, and culture have intertwined for centuries. Here, the vines tell ancient stories and preserve the memories of generations, while each row absorbs the light, wind, and energy of a generous and complex land.
The estate carefully cultivates 10 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, at 420 meters above sea level, where the balanced microclimate and mineral-rich soils allow the grapes to develop intense aromas and unique character. This property is supported by a consolidated network of local winemakers, built on decades-long relationships, which allows for control of every stage of production, ensuring excellent quality and traceability.
The vineyards are entirely dedicated to the area’s main native grape varieties: Falanghina, Coda di Volpe, Moscato, Fiano, Greco, Piedirosso, and Aglianico. Each variety expresses the richness and biodiversity of Sannio, reflecting the characteristics of the soil, climate, and local winemaking tradition.
Walking among the rows means perceiving the profound connection between the land and the wine, breathing in the history of a unique territory, and discovering how every glass is an authentic expression of this extraordinary landscape.
Sustainability and vision
Sustainability is a concrete commitment that guides every decision at Cantine Iannella, from the vineyard to the cellar, all the way to the reception areas.
The estate’s vineyards are cultivated according to organic practices, respecting the natural rhythms and balance of the land. In the cellar, the adoption of advanced technologies and the use of indigenous yeasts minimize the use of sulfites, preserving the integrity of the wine and its most authentic expression.
Particular attention is paid to resource management: water is used responsibly, through rainwater collection and reuse systems, while wastewater is treated with organic processes. Energy is partly produced by photovoltaic systems, helping to reduce the overall environmental impact.
Production and packaging decisions also follow this vision: lighter bottles, sustainable corks, and eco-friendly materials, such as recycled paper labels, are adopted to reduce the environmental footprint throughout the entire supply chain. Finally, the design of the spaces favors materials and architectural solutions that blend harmoniously with the landscape.
A conscious approach that combines innovation and respect, with the goal of protecting the land and transmitting its value over time.
